The Hummingbirds whiz around the brightly coloured flowers. Green vervet monkeys scamper in the trees, eating mangoes and other goodies. The trade winds cool the sun brightened veranda overlooking the junction of the Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean Sea. Brightly lit cruise ships pass at night, and sail boats dot the water by the day.

Tamarind Tor sits on one and a half acres and affords a panoramic view of the two mile wide passage between Nevis and her sister island of St.Kitts in the Leeward Islands.
